I can't give this McDonald's high ratings. The sandwich was okay. The staff was kind of pissy. And the wait considering the lack of customers was unacceptable.

I-40 through Santa Rosa does not offer much for the traveler to quickly stop and grab a bite and get back on the road, so the double arches serves a a beacon to stop and use the restroom and grab a bite. So we stopped... We had in the past stopped in to grab a quick bite and use the bathroom before making the jump east to the next town of any size and while the food has always been lackluster it's been doable. Not this time. We went in on a Monday 7/20/15 around noonish. There was the normal crowd doing the same as us, a break and a bite. The bathrooms were clean and ok. There were an above average number of flies present. We decided to get our food to go and relax in the car. The cashier handed Tiff her cup and then had to grab another sleeve of cups to get mine. Before he got back to the counter with my cup he stopped and began talking to another customer in the lobby that appeared to be a buddy of his. The manager got on to him and told him to get my cup to me and get back on the front desk, he told her he would when he was ready and it took a couple of more min to get my drink cup. Then we learned that the tea urns were behind the counter and not in the lobby with the soda machine. So we had to ask and wait for the cups to be filled with tea and returned. After a bit our food was delivered and we took the bag and got back in the car and headed back on I-40. You always eat the fries first, so they don't get cold. Well that didn't matter because the fries were cold to start with and had a odd taste to them. The burgers were odd as well and the meat had a wang to it and the veggies seemed a bit old. Sadly we are scratching this McDonald's off the list, maybe Tucumcari can make the grade.

Went to the drive up thought I would be in and out not! then I finally honk my horn for service the guy hands me a wet bottom bag and tells me in broken English that there is water in the counter, well my last trip to McDs in Santa Rosa

There were posters advertising the new chicken tenders, but they didn't have any because their truck didn't bring any. Hmm. Okey dokey. We had fish filets, they were fine when you're hungry. Fries were just ok, apple pie was tasty. Gracias.

First review ever of McDonald's but I was impressed. This place was SWAMPED with the ordering line almost to the door. But service was very quick, courteous and professional. My burger and coffee were both excellent - could be due to the freshness.

There were hundreds of bugs on the floor ..inside! The fountain drink machine obviously hadn't been cleaned in a couple of days ...or more? Ended up not trusting the food and threw it away to eat somewhere else.

McCafe coffee great, eggs and english muffin have sat out too long and are stale. Sad franchise

I would give it zero stars but can't. Lady taking our drive through order was extremely rude. She repeated our order wrong twice so I repeated it myself and before I finished she rudely said "I got it". When we drove to the window she repeated the order wrong again. She then had to call her manager over to change it on the register. A young man with neck and sleeve tattoos came over and changed the order on the register. She then repeated our order again and repeated it wrong once more. We finally left after some time with our order. Have not ever dealt with anyone so rude and incompetent at a McDonald's before. Don't stop here on your journey.

Place is disgusting. Floors looked like they weren't cleaned for days. There are about a thousand dead flies in there. Just gross.

Horrible service. I am not a food snob and rarely write negative reviews but wow... Completely jacked up my order... I said diet coke 3 times and they still gave me an unsweetened iced tea... Truth is they won't fix their customer service because there's really nowhere else to stop off Santa Rosa exit 275. We flock like sheep for convenience and then get mad. But no matter what McDonald's I go to I expect the same experience. So much room to improve!

I should have not gone in after I saw how dirty the parking lot was, but I did in need of subsistence. What I saw when I entered will forever be etched into my mind: the dirtiest McDonald's I have ever seen. I have traveled all over the country and have never seen such a site as this in a McDonald's. If it is this dirty in the parking lot and dining area I do not want to think how it is on the "back line". I am guessing they can get away with this since all the other fast food establishments have closed down off this exit. Now only this scummy McDonald's stands.

Do NOT stop, keep on driving!!! Four separate people returned their food while I was waiting in line. Not clean and not safe!

Awful, awful service. I don't go to McDonald's expecting fantastic food or service but I do expect passable service. The last time we went they were out of half the things on the menu. The employees don't really speak or understand English well. It took forever to order our food because the cashier didn't understand what we were asking for and we couldn't understand what she was asking us. After over 5 minutes of ordering, they STILL got our order wrong. Avoid this 'restaurant' at all cost.
